Celebrate nature's goodness at the 2024 Harvest Fest

People of all ages are invited to enjoy a day of fun, food, and family activities


THOROLD, ON --- The 2024 Harvest Fest presented by the Knights of Columbus 2319 is set to take
place on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 9 am to 4 pm at the Basciano Centre. The move this year
to a new venue for the 3rd annual event will allow for more activities with many amenities at the TCAG
facility located at 131 Richmond St. Thorold.


This year’s festival shows how our community can grow together with a variety of activities, delicious
local food, creative talents showing their unique handmade crafts in a wonderful family event.

At the core of this popular annual event, Thorold celebrates the bounty of the season that brings the
community together. Attendees can enjoy a farmer’s market, craft show and other vendors, kids safety
village, food cafe, and much more.

· Great deals on an amazing selection of potted mums from Schenck Farms
· Food Drive - Collecting non-perishable foods for the St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank
· Bottle Collection - Bring your refundable empties (beer, wine, liquor) to support our charities
· Kids Safety Village featuring the Thorold Fire Department and "Touch-a-Truck", NRPS.
· Greater Niagara Humane Society information booth and display
· Free balloons compliments of Air Liquide
· Free popcorn for kids 12 years of age and under
· Prizes to be won in a raffle supporting our charities


Proceeds from Harvest Fest will be donated to Hospice Niagara and TCAG.


In the Food Cafe, visitors will find the Knights serving their famous Beef on a Bun. The menu will also
feature grilled chicken satays provided by Kent Heritage Farms.

season,” said Tim O'Brien, Harvest Fest Event Chair, “Whether you’re a longtime resident or visiting
for the first time, we invite you to join us for a day of fun and festivities.”


The Knights of Columbus 2319 is committed to making this event accessible and enjoyable for all. We

Complete Cleaning Services, Dixie Regulator & Torch Repair, Elio’s Foot Comfort Centre, Henderson’s
Pharmacy, Kent Heritage Farms, and Thorold Foodland helping us make this year’s Harvest Fest a
success. We are also grateful for the assistance by our event partners, Air Liquide, Canal City Realty,
City of Thorold, Hospice Niagara, Impact Promotions, and Schenck Farms, all helping us grow
together.


Thanks to all supporters of Harvest Fest and Garden Fest presented by the Knights of Columbus 2319
in the past 4 years. We raised over $18,852 for charities including Hospice Niagara, Niagara Health
Foundation,Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, St Vincent de Paul Food Bank, Special Olympics,
Thorold Community Activities Group, and Wellspring Niagara.
