Oct. 10, 2024 – Enjoy fall and its splashy spectacle of crimson, orange, and gold with a
free, family-fun day at St. Catharines popular Pumpkinville.
Come out on Saturday, Oct. 19 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to enjoy family-friendly and
fall-themed activities and games in the beauty of nature at Happy Rolph’s Animal Farm,
650 Read Rd.
“Pumpkinville has become a beloved tradition for families in our community, and we’re
thrilled to bring it back for it’s 36th year,” said Kelsey Kaupp, Community and Events
Program Assistant. “This event is all about creating memories and embracing the
changing seasons. Whether it’s visiting the animals, enjoying fall treats, or picking out a
pumpkin with loved ones, we invite everyone to come out and enjoy the festivities.”
Collect a complimentary pumpkin courtesy of Meridian Credit Union, one per family,
while supplies last. Enjoy free warm beverages from Tim Hortons, including coffee, tea,
and hot chocolate.
Savour tasty hot treats available for purchase at Country Boys Mobile Food Services.
St. Catharines Fire Services will also join the festivities, one of their community event
appearances in October to educate the public on fire prevention and fire safety,
following Fire Prevention Week Oct. 6-12. Tour a fire truck and take photos with the
truck and with Firefighters.
The Niagara IceDogs’ mascot, Bones, will also make a special appearance.
Don’t miss a final chance to visit with the animals at Happy Rolph’s before they head to
their sanctuary for the winter. Attendees can also learn more about horses with
Whispering Hearts Horse Rescue.
Pumpkinville runs rain or shine. Parking is limited. Shuttle services will be available from
10:30 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. at the Grantham Lions Club, 732 Niagara St. Overflow parking
can be accessed, across the street from the Lions Club, at Assumption Catholic
Elementary School.
Accessible washrooms, a playground, walking trails, and a covered sitting area are also
available onsite at Happy Ralph’s Animal Farm.
