FRAUDULENT USE OF CREDIT AND DEBIT CARDS UNDER INVESTIGATION

Police Seek Assistance To Identify Person Of Interest

(PEMBROKE, ON) - Members of the Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating the fraudulent use of credit and debit cards after a wallet was reported as lost in west end Pembroke.

 

It happened back on August 20, 2024. The cards were used at five locations in Pembroke that day and over $1,400 in fraudulent transactions were made.

 

After a lengthy investigation, officers have been unable to identify the person of interest in this case. Police are now seeking assistance from the public to identify the male who is described as 30-40 years old and was last seen driving a black four-door SUV. Photos are attached.
