The Cobourg Police Service encourages the public to report suspected impaired driving by calling 911. Impaired driving is the leading criminal cause of death and injury in Canada, yet every impaired driving crash is preventable. By calling 911 and reporting suspected impaired drivers to the police, everyone can play a role in keeping roads and waterways safe. Always plan for a safe ride home, designate a sober driver, or call a friend, a relative, or a cab.

This winter, YMCA Northumberland is running Operation Red Nose, the safe ride service. We encourage everyone to call ORN at (905) 377-1218 during the evenings and hours of operation for a safe, reliable ride home.
