Big news on the horizon (literally)! A new pedestrian bridge will be installed at Forty Mile Creek Park (Elizabeth Street Pumphouse location) this Spring.
This bridge has been closed for several years and provides an important connection through the Forty Mile Creek Trail. Work will begin at the site starting the week of January 20th, 2025 and the project is expected to be completed this spring.
During construction, sections of the trail closest to the bridge will be closed. We ask all trail users to follow the posted closure signs and not enter the work areas during construction.
Whether you're walking, cycling, or taking in the scenic views, the new bridge is intended to improve connectivity and enhance recreational opportunities for our community.
