
Feb. 27, 2025 – The St. Catharines Cultural Investment Program (SCCIP) is now
accepting applications for its 2025 funding cycle. Cultural organizations, arts initiatives
and festival producers are invited to apply for support to bring their creative projects to
life.
SCCIP offers five distinct program streams, each tailored to specific goals, eligibility
requirements and evaluation criteria, to strengthen the creative sector and enhance the
cultural ecosystem in St. Catharines.
“The St. Catharines Cultural Investment Program is committed to supporting the arts
and cultural community, fostering projects that enrich public life and keep our city
vibrant,” said Ashley Judd-Rifkin, Culture Coordinator for the City of St. Catharines. “We
encourage all eligible applicants to explore these opportunities and connect with our
team for guidance.”
Key Deadlines for 2025 Applications:
• April 10: Sustaining Core and Midsized Programs
• May 1: Arts Development, Culture Builds Community Programs
• Sept. 18: Arts Development, Culture Builds Community and Sustaining Festival
Programs
Application materials for the Sustaining Core and Midsized Programs, as well as online
applications, are now available on the City’s website. Materials for other program
streams are typically released six to eight weeks before their application deadlines.
Please check back soon for development program application materials.
Eligible applicants must be active in St. Catharines, offer programming or services open
to the public and promoted city-wide. Applicants are encouraged to consult with City
staff to ensure eligibility and find the best program fit before applying.
Applications will be reviewed by the St. Catharines Arts and Culture Advisory
Committee, with recommendations for funding presented to City Council.
