NIAGARA, ON – On Sunday, March 9th, the Niagara IceDogs teamed up with the Humane Society of Greater Niagara to raise funds to protect and care for animals across Niagara. The Niagara IceDogs are proud to announce that the Gold Pucks sold at this game raised over $340 to protect animals within the region.
The Niagara IceDogs would also like to give a huge thank you to Tim and Karol Hyland for their generous donation of $500 for this cause. With this, $842.17 in total was donated to the Humane Society of Greater Niagara.
With this donation - the Humane Society of Greater Niagara will help protect animals with safe refuge and compassionate care, find and implement workable solutions to the most urgent animal welfare issues of our community, publicly emphasize the mutual benefits of bringing people and pets together to encourage pet adoption and provide rescue control as a lifeline to animals in need.
The Niagara IceDogs would like to thank Karol and Tim Hyland for their generous donation, along with all of Dog Country for purchasing our gold pucks and making this incredible donation possible. Donations such as this play a vital role in standing up for those who can't speak for themselves, especially when it comes to animals who need our protection and care.
