The Queen's Emotions and Risky Behaviour in Youth (QuERBY) Lab is currently recruiting adolescents aged 13-19 for a study that seeks to better understand suicide risk in this age group. This study has been approved by the university's ethics board (TRAQ # 6038354).
To be eligible for this study, you must:
- Be 13 to 19 years old
- Had recent suicidal thoughts
- Be able to read and write fluently in English
- Have access to a laptop or computer with access to WiFi and Zoom
- Have access to a Smartphone with a reliable data plan or access to WiFi
- Have 20/20 or corrected vision
- Have a parent/guardian who is willing to provide informed consent and be an emergency contact (for those below 15 years old)
- Provide an emergency contact (for those 15 years old and above)
Participants will receive an Amazon e-gift card or SONA credits to thank them for their time and contribution to our study.
