The Peach King Centre (PKC) is getting a major upgrade - and a new name! Local
company, Major Refrigeration Ltd. has secured the naming rights to the PKC as part of
the facility’s $36.7 million expansion and renovation. This sponsorship will enhance
recreation and sport opportunities for residents, keeping them accessible and
affordable. Once complete, the facility will be known as the “Major Refrigeration Peach
King Centre”.
Building on the existing twin arena pad facility at 162 Livingston Avenue, The Major
Refrigeration Peach King Centre will offer more than 130,000 sq. ft. of multi-use space
to support community sport, health and wellness. The 10-year sponsorship, valued at
$500,000, continues Major Refrigeration’s legacy of community support, including a
recent $50,000 donation to McNally House Hospice, and several local sports
sponsorships.
This contribution is part of a larger capital campaign for Peach King Expansion and
Renovation to raise funds to offset facility and program costs. Other naming rights

About the Project
The Peach King Centre Expansion and Renovation project represents a community-
driven vision to enhance recreation opportunities and meet the growing demand for
modern, multi-use indoor spaces. Originating from the 2019 Parks, Recreation and
Culture Master Plan, the project received a $16 million grant from the Ontario
Government’s Strategic Priorities Infrastructure Fund (SPIF).

Construction is currently ongoing at the Peach King Centre site, with the steel structure
