Town of Grimsby - Tourism in Grimsby: Help Shape Our Future

Grimsby is developing a Tourism Strategic Action Plan, and your voice is a vital part of the process.

Tourism touches many parts of our community. It supports local businesses, brings new energy to our downtown, and helps showcase Grimsby’s natural beauty, heritage, and character. But it also raises important questions: How do we grow in a way that fits Grimsby’s values? What kind of tourism do we want to encourage? What do we need to preserve, and what do we want to change?

That’s why we’re holding two Public Town Hall meetings, open to all residents, business owners, and community members who care about the future of our town. These Town Halls will be facilitated by Context Research Group Inc., a Toronto-based research firm, in partnership with the Town of Grimsby.

Town Hall Dates:

  • Wednesday, April 16 and Thursday, May 1
  • Time: 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
  • Location: Grimsby Town Hall (160 Livingston Avenue)
  • Watch live on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@townofgrimsbyontario
    • If you're tuning in live and want to join the conversation, feel free to share your thoughts or questions by emailing Michael Tracey at mtracey@crg.ca

These sessions are an opportunity to share your input, raise concerns, and offer ideas. Whether you’ve lived here for generations or have moved recently to the Town, your perspective is welcome.

The Tourism Strategic Action Plan will help guide decisions for years to come. This is your chance to be part of the conversation and help create a plan that reflects who we are as a community.

Your voice matters. Let’s plan Grimsby’s future - together!
