Replacement of Section of Niagara River Recreation Trail in Niagara-on-the-Lake​

• Popular section of Niagara River Recreation Trail to be replaced, May 12 – June 20
• Niagara Parkway to remain open, with minimal disruption to traffic 

Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON – Niagara Parks will undertake the removal and replacement of a one-kilometre section of the Niagara River Recreation Trail, near Brown's Point in Niagara-on-the-Lake, between May 12 – June 20, 2025.
 

Restriction to Trail Access

This section of the pathway will be closed to all trail users from May 12 to June 20, 2025. During the construction, which will take place Monday through Friday from approximately 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., those in the vicinity may experience dust, loud noises, and other minor inconveniences. 

The Niagara Parkway will remain open during construction; however, motorists are advised to exercise caution in this area, as trucks will be turning into/out of the site frequently. To ensure the construction zone remains safe, there may be temporary delays and traffic control operations.
