Pelham, ON – The Town of Pelham is launching a new pilot project to operate the concession at the Meridian Community Centre (MCC). This initiative represents a new approach to enhancing services for residents and visitors.
As part of the pilot, the Town is also inviting residents to take part in a short survey to share feedback on their preferences for the concession. The survey includes questions about menu options, operating hours, and overall expectations, and is designed to guide future decisions about the service.
“It will be exciting to see the feedback from the community about options for the concession,” said Vickie vanRavenswaay, Director of Recreation, Culture and Wellness. “The goal is to make the concession a welcoming and convenient amenity for all users of the MCC.”
Residents are encouraged to have their say and help shape the future of this community space. The survey is available online now through May 22, 2025.
The decision to proceed with the pilot was informed in part by the continued popularity of the Meridian Community Centre. In 2024 alone, the facility welcomed 570,000 visitors who attended programs, sporting events, rentals, and community gatherings, highlighting the strong demand for on-site amenities like food and beverage services.
