NIAGARA FALLS, ON - In light of the recent wildfire emergencies in Manitoba and northern Ontario, which have displaced numerous families from their homes, the Niagara Falls community is stepping up to offer support to evacuees. As our city prepares to welcome hundreds, if not thousands, of individuals affected by this crisis, we invite residents to lend their support in various ways.
Financial Donations: The Canadian Red Cross is accepting monetary donations to assist with the immediate needs of evacuees, including shelter, food, and essential supplies. Contributions can be made through their official website.
Gathering Supplies: While financial contributions are invaluable, many evacuees will also need supplies. If you would like donate supplies, residents are encouraged to contact the Canadian Red Cross to find out what items are needed and can be received.
