Project SHARE Launches “Full Bellies 50/50” to Help Feed Niagara Falls Families

Niagara Falls, ON – Project SHARE has officially launched the Full Bellies 50/50 Raffle, a new
quarterly fundraiser to help provide emergency food, housing assistance, and essential services
to individuals and families living in poverty in Niagara Falls.

Tickets for the summer edition of the raffle went on sale at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June
10, 2025, and are available at rafflebox.ca/raffle/projectshare. Ticket sales will close at 12:00
p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, with the grand prize draw taking place the same day at 2:00
p.m.

An Early Bird Prize of $500, generously donated by Cardinal Kia, will be drawn on
Wednesday, July 3 for those who purchase tickets early.

“With demand for our services continuing to rise, we’re always looking for new and
creative ways to raise funds,” says Jenelle Gummesen, Fundraising Events
Coordinator at Project SHARE. “The Full Bellies 50/50 raffle allows us to engage
the community in a fun and impactful way—especially during a time when support is
needed more than ever.”

Proceeds from the raffle will help Project SHARE continue to operate essential programs that
support over 14,000 individuals annually, including emergency food distribution, eviction and
housing loss prevention, and other essential supports. While food donations remain critical,
monetary support allows Project SHARE to purchase high-demand items like milk, tuna, and
peanut butter to fill nutritional gaps.

The raffle is open to Ontario residents who are 18 years or older. Tickets are available in
bundles of 3 for $10, 10 for $20, 50 for $50, or 150 for $100.
The Full Bellies 50/50 Raffle will take place four times per year, with future raffles scheduled
for:
● Fall Draw – September-October 2025
● Winter Draw – January-February 2026
● Spring Draw – April-May 2026

Purchase your ticket today at rafflebox.ca/raffle/projectshare and help feed more families in
our community.
