
Temporary road closures scheduled for sections of Queen Victoria Park
Niagara Falls, ON—Niagara Parks is pleased to welcome back the Ride for Roswell, a bi-national cycling event in support of the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, on Saturday, June 28.
To help facilitate the route through Queen Victoria Park, the following temporary road closures will be in place:
Saturday, June 28
A full closure of all northbound lanes (lanes closest to the River) along the Niagara Parkway from Table Rock to Clifton Hill will be in place from 5 a.m. until 11 a.m. All northbound traffic in this area will be diverted to the southbound lanes, which will operate in an opposing traffic pattern. During this closure, the northbound WEGO bus service will be unable to stop at the Murray Street, Grand View and Clifton Hill pick up and drop off locations.
Please note that these lane closures may cause some traffic delays.
About Ride for Roswell
The Ride for Roswell, which has 9 routes and covers 12 municipalities and two countries, raises funds to support cancer research at the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, New York. The Niagara route brings approximately 400 cyclists across the Peace Bridge at Fort Erie; the cyclists then continue north along the Niagara Parkway to cross back into the U.S. via the Rainbow Bridge in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
