Niagara-on-the-Lake is proud to host the annual Sports Wall of Fame Ceremony, an event that recognizes individuals who have made remarkable contributions to the Town’s sports community or achieved outstanding athletic accomplishments.
The Town is pleased to announce the 2025 inductees:
- The late Mike Kappel: Remembered as an accomplished rower and four-time Canadian wrestling representative.
- David Mines: A lifelong Niagara-on-the-Lake resident who has dedicated over 40 years to growing hockey and lacrosse in the community.
The public is warmly invited to attend this special celebration, honouring these individuals who have played a pivotal role in shaping Niagara-on-the-Lake’s vibrant sporting culture.
