Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre Strengthens Commitment to the Arts with New Board Members and Team Additions

Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON – During their November 2024 Annual General Meeting, the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre announced the addition of three distinguished individuals to its Board of Directors. The Centre is also excited to welcome a new administrative assistant, a position made possible through the generous support of the Niagara Community Foundation. These developments mark an exciting chapter in the art centre’s ongoing mission to inspire and connect the community through the arts.

Joining the Board of Directors are Charles Cozens, Natalie Early, and Murray Marshall, each bringing a wealth of experience and passion for the arts. Their combined strengths will bring exciting changes to the art hub of the community.

Charles Cozens, an award-winning musician, composer, and conductor, brings a unique artistic perspective and a strong background in creative leadership. His involvement in the arts community will further enhance the Centre's programming and partnerships.


Natalie Early is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic planning and public relations. Her deep-rooted appreciation for the arts and commitment to community engagement will greatly contribute to the Centre's outreach initiatives.

Murray Marshall, with his extensive background in the legal profession, will support the Centre’s operational goals and strategic planning to ensure continued growth and sustainability.

In addition to the new board members, the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre is pleased to welcome Gabrielle Molyneux as the part-time administrative assistant to the team. This vital role, supported by the Niagara Community Foundation, will help enhance operational efficiency and provide essential support to the Centre’s programs, ensuring a seamless experience for artists, members, and visitors alike.

The Government of Canada’s Canada Summer Jobs grant enabled the hiring of dedicated summer staff. These positions provide young people with valuable skills and experience through meaningful employment in the arts sector. The 2025 summer staff team includes:

  • Nicky Hiscox, Camp Leader
  • Rachel deBoer, Camp Counsellor
  • Alessia Rocca, Camp Counsellor
