Niagara Falls, ON— Out of an abundance of caution, Niagara Parks has temporarily closed access to the Fisherman’s Trail, a popular nature trail located across from the Whirlpool Golf Course that provides access into the Niagara Gorge.
The closure will allow for necessary repairs to the stair infrastructure and further assessment of potential safety risks in the area. Work is scheduled to begin next week and the trail will remain closed until further notice.
