Temporary Closure of a Section of the Terrace Trail within the Niagara Glen
  • A section of the Terrace Trail, a marked trail located within the Niagara Glen trail network, is closed until further for stair repairs and risk mitigation
Niagara Falls, ON — Out of an abundance of caution, Niagara Parks has temporarily closed a section of the Terrace Trail, a well-travelled nature route within the marked trail network in the Niagara Glen.

The section of the Terrace Trail between the Cobblestone and Trillium Trails (the north entrance to the Terrace Trail to Terrace Trail Marker 6) will remain closed until further notice to allow for necessary repairs to the stair infrastructure and to assess potential safety risks in the area. Safety signage is in place to advise guests of the closure. Guests are reminded to follow all posted signage and trail markers within the Niagara Glen and to avoid any unmarked trails.

We appreciate the public’s understanding and cooperation as we work to maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
All Public Notices, along with information about ongoing construction projects, are available on Niagara Parks’ Repairs and Maintenance webpage here.
