Special Announcement from the Grimsby Museum - We’re thrilled to announce the official
online launch of the Grimsby Museum's Lake Lawn Collection!
Lake Lawn is a distinctive heritage home built in 1846, located in the heart of Grimsby.
The newly digitized records explore the rich history of Lake Lawn through original photographs,
clothing, toys, and personal belongings from the home and its descendants. An extensive
collection of family correspondence offers valuable insights into the lives of its residents and the
broader Grimsby community.

project possible. From transcribing original archives and scanning documents, to conducting
research and cataloguing, our volunteers contributed over 2,000 hours of service since 2020—
ensuring this collection could be shared now and preserved for the future.
