A total open-air burn ban has been implemented in the Town of Grimsby as of August 11, 2025 until further notice.
Due to extreme dry conditions and a lack of precipitation, Natural Resources Canada has designated the area as an Extreme Fire Danger. To ensure the safety of residents, a ban on all open-air burning has been declared by Fire and Emergency Services effective immediately.
The Town will continue to monitor the situation and will notify the community when the ban has been lifted via the Town’s website and social platforms. Thank you for your patience.
