Due to higher-than-normal patient volumes, we are currently operating beyond our usual capacity to ensure everyone receives the care they need. As a result, we’ve enacted Code Gridlock to manage the situation effectively.
To prioritize care needs and continue to serve our community:
• Patients may be admitted to overflow spaces including staying in the Emergency Department, or moving into our Ambulatory Care Department, Surgical Services Department or Family Waiting Rooms.
• We may have to temporarily alter or stop some of our programs and services as we work to improve patient flow. Should this be necessary the community will be notified in a timely manner.
Our dedicated staff are working diligently to improve patient flow and capacity. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding in the meantime as this may lead to longer-than-usual wait times.
