Ontario PC Party leader Patrick Brown has stepped down over allegations of sexual misconduct. Brown released a statement late on Jan.24, denying the allegations. We reached out to Parry Sound-Muskoka MPP Norm Miller for comment. Miller release this statement this morning.

"I was shocked to learn the recent news about Patrick Brown. This is an issue I take seriously, and I know we all agree that sexual harassment is never ok. Last night our caucus unanimously agreed that as a result Patrick Brown must no longer lead our Party and I believe MPP Brown has done the right thing by resigning his leadership. Our caucus is meeting shortly to determine our path moving forward and I assure you that  I remain committed to serving the people of Parry Sound – Muskoka."

We are working to get another statement from Norm Miller later today. Reports suggests an interim leader will be announced late today or tomorrow. The Ontario Provincial Election is set for June, 2018.
