Community Event - Chatham - Robert Frost: The Poet & 14 Poems

Come hear some of the poems of Robert Frost, the famous American poet. The event will include a brief biography of Frost, who lived from 1874 to 1963.

The reading is on Thursday, February 22 at 2 p.m. at the Library Cafe of the Chatham-Kent Public Library, 120 Queen St.

It will last approximately one hour. Admission is free. The reader is Clair Culliford. 

Frost received four Pulitzer Prizes for Poetry and a Congressional Gold Medal (“In recognition of his poetry, which has enriched the culture of the United States and the philosophy of the world”) by President Kennedy in March 1962. He also spoke at Kennedy’s inauguration.
