Join us on Saturday, April 7 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm for a Fix-It Café at Chatham Branch. During the Café visitors with broken items will be matched with “fixers” who will help them make repairs.
Fixers on hand will specialize in these areas of repair:
Small appliances
Computers
Clothes
Knitted items
Books/Paper items
Dull tools
Garden tools
Resumes
All repairs are completed free of charge and registration is not necessary. Visitors should bring broken items and any known new parts or materials required for a repair.
This program is part of CKPL’s 2018 CK Reads programming. Pick up your copy of 2018's CK Reads selection "They Left Us Everything" by Plum Johnson at any CKPL branch. To find out more about programs and events at Chatham-Kent Public Library, visit www.ckpl.ca.
