Third Age Nipissing, a volunteer organization dedicated to providing intellectually stimulating lectures for mature learners living in North Bay and neighbouring communities, is presenting The Love of Music lecture series on May 9, 16 and 23. The lectures will take place at the Holiday Inn Express, 1325 Seymour St, North Bay, from 1:30p.m. to 3:30p.m. Refreshments will be served. Lecture 1, The Enjoyment of Listening, on May 9 will cover the essentials of how to listen to music with a knowledgeable ear. Two accomplished musicians Calvin Cheng (violin) and Geoff Sinclair (french horn) will share their personal perspectives through discussion and demonstration.
