Tri-County Literacy Council, 101 2nd Street West, Cornwall is happy to announce it has received funding from the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development (MAESD) to upgrade its computer lab. As such, the agency is now offering free computer training to SD&G adults using the latest computers and programs.
The first round of training being offered is called “Basic Computer”. In this program, participants learn to perform basic computer tasks – “Computer Use” being 1 of the 9 Essential Skills identified by the Government of Canada as being necessary for success at work and in daily life. • Parts of the Computer
• Using a Mouse
• Keyboarding
• The Desktop
• Searching the World Wide Web
• Online Safety
• Saving & Managing Files
• Links to Other Free Community Resources
Take advantage of valuable, free training guided and supported by experienced trainers and volunteers.
