Doreen brings a wealth of experience and passion to all she does at YourTV. As host of both Readers Corner and F.Y.I., Doreen is all about educating the community. Her work on the community channel started in the mid 1990’s and has included interviews with famous authors, a Prime Minister, and other notable figures. She particularly enjoys spotlighting local writers and their works. YourTV has been a vehicle for Doreen to tell the stories of her community, from services available on the local level to serious issues with greater impact. Doreen has let her volunteer work with YourTV inspire participation in other areas such as the 30-hour Palliative Care Telethon for which she was a host and was able to interview those impacted by the charity. She is supported in her work at YourTV by three other volunteers who show up faithfully to learn from each other and produce quality television.
