Maurice Maeterlinck is the winner of the 1911 Nobel Prize for Literature. Maeterlinck is best known for his use of symbolism as he examines the tragedy of every day life. The Intruder focuses on the human experience, the fear of the unknown and our own mortality.
Director Paul Monaghan’s brilliant use of lighting, sound, and movement weaves seamlessly with the dialogue to immerses the audience in the examination of the intruder in our lives.
