The geography of the riding may have changed but the result was the same as Randy Hillier rode the Progressive Conservative wave to victory in the riding of Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston. Despite a strong second place showing by NDP candidate Ramsey Hart, Hillier was re-elected to the riding has held since 2007. Liberal candidate Amanda Pulker-Mok placed third while Libertarian and Independent candidates Steve Gebhardt and John A. McEwen were a distrant 4th and 5th.
