A variety of homemade soups, sandwiches and desserts are served at the lunch on Friday, Nov. 29th from 11am to 1pm. The proceeds of this lunch, which has been held for 10 years, help with the outreach of the church. Minimum $5 donation at the door. Come, bring a friend, enjoy a delicious lunch and know that you have also contributed to many worthwhile causes. This lunch is held downstairs. Chris Murphy, who performs with Turpins Trail, will be performing a solo show at Athens United Church on Sunday, Nov 17th at 2pm. Come enjoy the Celtic sounds of this very talented singer who is just back from a couple months performing in Newfoundland. Tickets are $15 with children 15 and under free.
