St. Francis Knights of Columbus Council 11531 will serve their renown Community Roast Beef Dinner on Thursday, November 10th in the Parish Hall (434 Second Street West) from 4:30 to 6:00 PM. The Annual Hunt for the Great Pumpkin is back! Locate the pumpkin in all 12 participating retailers located downtown here in Kingston, get signed off and be entered into a draw for a gift basket valued at $300.00. Not only are we thrilled to be offering this popular breakfast again, we are celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Wrapped in Courage Campaign! For the last decade, #WrappedinCourage has been growing awareness of gender-based violence across Ontario through purple scarves. These scarves mean something different to everyone who wears them. Some wear a purple scarf during #WomanAbusePrevention month and the #16DaysofActivism to #EndGBV to show their support for local GBV services, while some are signaling to survivors that they are believed, valued and never alone.
