April 23rd at 7:30pm at the Capitol Centre
North Bay Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster Calvin Cheng leads some of classical music's most recognizable favourites in a one hour performance. In Vivaldi's Four Seasons Spring movement, we will hear music representing singing birds, flowing creeks and thunderstorms; Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 features nine soloists - 3 violins, 3 violas, and 3 cellos; Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik begins joyfully with one of the most notable musical phrases; and, composer Arvo Pärt's meditative Fratres captures his own observation that "the instant and eternity are struggling within us".
Tickets are $25.00 for adults, students $18.00 and children under 12 are admitted free accompanied by an adult or student purchase. Enjoy the show from home on your electronic device by purchasing a $15.00 Streaming Ticket.
