First Christian Reformed Church of Sarnia is welcoming everyone to their April series call “Tuesdays at First”. Tuesdays at First is series of free seminars open to everyone and lead by expert panelist. This year, topics include: elder abuse (on April 2), violence against women (on April 9), child abuse & fostering for permanency (on April 16), fundamentals of investing (on April 23) and wildlife rescue &rehabilitation (on April 30). These free worships run every Tuesday in April from 7-8pm at First Christian Reformed Church in Sarnia, 1105 Exmouth St. Everyone is welcome!

The Trent Evening Quilters celebrate their 20th anniversary by inviting every current and former member of the informal club to its annual quilt-in and show for a group photo at noon on April 13. Come see how quilts are made and displayed.

The group hosts a show at the university’s Champlain College where dozens of women display several creations and work on projects in progress. The event has become a popular attraction for other quilters, aspiring quilters and people interested in how quilts are made.

Birthday cake will be served on Saturday.

The Blue Jean Bash at the Barn supporting WETRA will be full of fun. Hosted by Jim Crichton.

A rib and chicken meal with all the fixins’, cash bars featuring local wine, beer and spirits followed by bull riding, axe throwing, nail pounding, line dancing, LIVE and silent auctions, photo booth, etc.  Come and meet our 20 therapy horses.
