The Pembroke Public Library announces Fall Short Story Contest
Pembroke Public Library is pleased to announce that beginning on October 15th 2018, there will be a Stories from the Valley short story contest.
This short story contest is open to all adults (18 or older) of Renfrew county and is looking at nonfiction stories of 1000-1500 words.
The theme is ‘Memories of the Valley” and stories should show the unique lives, events and characters that make up the Ottawa Valley.

Windsor Symphony Orchestra presents a moving Remembrance Day program featuring the Windsor Classic Chorale to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of WW1.
