Friday Bingo is back!  St. Helen Church, 4106 Mountain Road, Beamsville will reopen Friday Bingo November 4th.  We know our Bingo family has been waiting for us to reopen (yes, we’ve been reading your emails). We are holding our game prices. No price increases! Game prizes will remain the same too.  Join us early to enjoy a free BBQ burger.  Free tea and coffee as usual.  Doors open at 6pm and Bingo games start at 7pm.  Tell your family, friends and neighbours.  We are back!

Recent Governor General’s Award finalist, Kate Story, skillfully weaves the epic poem, Beowulf, into a humorous, poignant and honest exploration of her own story growing up the daughter of a famed Newfoundland lexicographer. Anxiety examines the history of the English language and the roots of white supremacy as Kate seeks to understand her place in a modern world seemingly gone mad.
