Drivers reminded to exercise caution as SCHOOL BUSES RETURN

A 62-year-old man died Tuesday, Sept. 8, after his vehicle struck a tree on Lacroix Bay Road in Whitewater Region.

Members of the Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have successfully concluded an investigation into multiple break and enters that occurred in the Arnprior area.

On Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at approximately 4:30 p.m., police responded to a serious incident in the area of McElligott Drive in Deep River where one person was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Residents are advised that the shelter-in-place advisory previously issued for the Town of Deep River has been lifted.
