Established in Southern Ontario in 1997, Practically Hip has been performing the music its members love for over 20 years at clubs, festivals, universities and colleges, and private events throughout North America and beyond.
The band is made up of professional musicians and performers who are also Hip superfans – together, they’ve seen over 75 Tragically Hip concerts! As true and dedicated fans, they can be note-perfect on all the songs while adding jams and electric performance elements that audiences are looking for. This is truly what has made Practically Hip the busiest, most sought after and number one Tragically Hip tribute band in Canada!
Evidently, the band is passionate about the material, capturing the nuances and spirit of the original performances – down to the rants, stories, and all the songs the Hip are known for! Canadian performer Jessica Wilson is a multi-instrumentalist and triple threat performer who can be found on various stages across the country. Some of her major recent accomplishments include winning multiple Broadway World Awards, the Emerging Artist Award at the St. Catharines Arts Awards, and multiple Niagara Music Awards for her original music. She is also known for singing with Juno-Award winning artist Serena Ryder, opening for City & Colour. She was also selected by radio personality, television host, and producer Ryan Seacrest as the international winner of his "March Music Madness" cover contest.
With a degree in music theatre performance, her favourite place to be is on stage. Select previous credits include Dyanne in Million Dollar Quartet, Narrator in Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Doralee in 9to5, Veronica in Heathers: The Musical, and Janet, Usherette, and Columbia in The Rocky Horror Show.

Buzz Collins has been leaving audiences mesmerized for over 30 years now – from the resorts of the Caribbean to multiple headlining runs at Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas.
Much of Buzz’s schedule is filled with corporate engagements. However, in light of recent events throughout the world, he wanted to create an entertainment experience for all audiences that would showcase how connected we truly are. How our similarities far outweigh our differences is the theme that’s inspired his new stage show, “Connections."
Truly a display of mystifying mental phenomena, Buzz’s performances are filled with laughter and unforgettable moments where audience members become a part of what can only be described as a mind bending experience!
Despite a sometimes intense performance schedule that takes Buzz to locales throughout Canada and the US, he can also be heard weekday mornings as host of the Rock 107 Morning Buzz in Belleville, Ontario.

“Let’s do the Time Warp again!” In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad and Janet, stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker and a creepy butler. Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.”
Complete with sass from the audience, cascading toilet paper, and an array of other audience participation props, this deliberately kitschy rock ‘n’ roll sci-fi gothic musical is great fun for adults and a perfect way to celebrate the Halloween season!
