Please join us for the opening of our September exhibitions from 6-9 PM on First Friday.

In the main gallery we will be featuring the exhibition "Within and Beyond the Wave" by Wilma Mehl, a Lambton County pastel artist. In the turret room, members of the Sarnia Photographic Club will be exhibiting their work.  Speak with members in their booth on the lawn from 6-9 PM to learn more about their meetings and activities. 

The Songbirds Union: Evan and Angele Dawe will be performing music on the lawn from 6:30-8:30 PM.  One set will feature Evan performing on his own, and one set he will be joined by Angele.

Come enjoy a fun community movie night! We’re showing “Love, Simon” at the Algonquin Theatre on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 7:00 PM. Bring your friends, enjoy some popcorn, and get ready to laugh, feel, and cheer for Simon’s story. PG-13.

Tickets are just $10 at AlgonquinTheatre.ca – get yours early so you don’t miss out!

A ticket lets you shop from 4-4:30 p.m. before the Book Fair officially starts at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 4, 2025. Tickets are $25 each and only 50 tickets will be sold. Entry at 4:30 p.m. is $5 and these tickets are available at the door. Entry on all other dates of the Book Fair is free.

Please come and join a friendly group of amateur gardeners interested in learning more about all aspects of gardening.

Join Dave, “The Beekeeper” at “Backed by Bees”, for an engaging exploration of honey’s incredible legacy and the evolution of beekeeping. From the earliest depictions of honey hunters in ancient cave art to the development of the modern hive, Dave will guide us through millennia of honey’s journey through human history. He’ll reveal how beekeeping techniques evolved across cultures and continents, sharing his own experiences in the field to illustrate the essential role bees play today in ecosystems and agriculture. This talk is perfect for anyone curious about the timeless bond between humans and bees.To participate in the honey tasting a charge of $3 will be collected at the door.

Dave, "The Beekeeper," at “Backed by Bees” is a dedicated apiarist with years of hands-on experience. Known for his deep knowledge and engaging style, he brings the world of bees to life, blending practical insights with a passion for honey's cultural impact. Dave's talks reveal the intricate connections between bees, nature, and our daily lives.
