In partnership with the Communities in Bloom committee and Niagara-on-the-Lake Hydro, the Niagara Pumphouse proudly presents an Exhibition of Artwork Submissions for 2019 Hydro Box Beautification Competition. The exhibit will be on display from December 12, 2019 - January 7, 2020. Join us for the Opening Reception and Celebration Party for the exhibit on Thursday, December 12th, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. All of the public is welcome.

This competition was open to artists who live, work or operate in the Niagara Region. The selected artwork will be transferred onto a vinyl wrap that will serve to beautify the boxes at King & Ricardo Streets, Memorial Park off King Street, and Front Street near Victoria Street.

Prize money of $500 will be awarded for each of the three winning submissions on the evening of the Opening Reception and Awards Celebration Party.

Bien avant que les jeux vidéo existaient, les jeux de société, qui réunissaient autour d’une même table familles et amis de toutes les générations! Loin d’être chose du passé, l’engouement pour les jeux de société demeure bien palpable et rassemble, encore aujourd’hui, les jeunes de 7 à 77 ans pour des moments ludiques et divertissants. Fasciné par les jeux de société, Stéphane Quesnel possède plus de 900 jeux datant des années 1930 à 1999. Jeux rares, vintage, pièces de collection, jeux thématiques; ce collectionneur les a tous et nous les présente dans le cadre de l’exposition Vieux Jeux. Une belle occasion de se remémorer des bons moments et même de jouer à certains jeux qui seront disponibles sur place! Alors? Monopoly, Clue, Risk, Jour de paye, Quelques arpents de pièges – lequel était votre préféré?
