Wesley United Church's Christmas Market:  275 Pembroke St E (Pembroke at William Street), 8:30 AM to 4 PM, Saturday November 16th. 

Vendors from participating Pembroke area churches and from the community with unique crafts, knitting, Christmas decor, baking, jewelry, good used & new items, and much, much more. 

Light lunch available.

St. Peter-in-Chains Catholic Women's League will host their annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, November 23rd, from 10:00 a.m. until 3 p.m. There is no cost for admission. We will have a Bake Table, Raffle Table, Craft Vendors, New and Used Table, "Children's Only" Shopping Area and a Christmas Table, as well as our wonderful Tea Room (by donations only). The Bazaar will take place in the Knights of Columbus Hall, 317 Hunter St. West. Come early and enjoy the fun.

10:00am:  Parade will form up along Church St in front of City Hall

10:15am:  Service @ City Hall with wreaths laid at City Honour Rolls, Watson Memorial and the RCL Br. 24 Cenotaph accompanied by the                  Last Post.

10:30am:  Parade will march to Memorial Park where Service and laying of wreaths will take place. 

11:00am:  Two minute silence with the Firing of the Guns by 10th Battery followed by the placing of Wreaths.

Du 3 au 9 novembre c'est la semaine nationale des proches aidants. Pour souligner l'évènement, la TRIPA, Table Régionale des Intervenants Proches Aidants, organise une activité reconnaissance pour toutes les personnes qui assument, souvent dans l'ombre et sans être conscient du rôle important qu'ils tiennent. Dimanche 3 novembre 2019 dès 9h à l'Hotel Universel d'Alma, la TRIPA et ses partenaires reçoivent MMe Guylaine Guay, comédienne et humoriste, mère de deux enfants autistes. C'Est avec beaucoup de résilience et d'humour qu'elle nous invite à mieux connaître la différence à travers divers faits, expériences et anecdotes. Cette activité est offerte gratuitement par les organismes membres de la TRIPA, l'Appui 02 et Centraide Saguenay Lac-St-Jean. Des organismes de la région seront présents pour vous faire connaître leurs services. On vous y attends en grand nombre. Aucune réservation, premier arrivée premier servi.
