Registration at 9am to 10:30am at the Renfrew Information Booth - then KSU for scenic ride through Valley Highlands. Ride ends at Renfrew Golden Age Centre for a
delicious lunch by donation. Door prizes will be drawn at that time. Toys are given to a representative on hand that day from the
Phoenix Centre to be given out to those families in Renfrew County, that have the greatest need at Christmas. All riders are welcome or
just drop by registration and make a donation.

Community Event - Belleville - Importance of Blood Pressure on Heart Health
The Prince Edward Family Health Team will offer a free presentation on the Importance of Blood Pressure on Heart Health followed by a blood pressure clinic on Wednesday, November 6th at the Picton Town Hall located at 2 Ross Street in Picton starting at 12:30pm. This will follow the Seniors Lunch at noon, cost for the lunch is $10.00, call to register. High blood pressure is a dangerous condition in adults that is a major risk factor for heart attack and stroke. Blood Pressure Clinics enable you to have your blood pressure checked by a professional nurse. This drop in clinic will start at 1:00 and end at 3:00pm. Community Event - Belleville - Seniors Information and Active Living Fair
The County Seniors Centre is hosting the second annual Seniors Information and Active Living Fair. See 50+ “vendors” from the community showcasing the services they offer, as well as presentations and demonstrations. This FREE event is open to the public. It starts at 10:00am with activities through to 3:00pm. Organizers recommend planning to attend for the full day as presentations are scheduled every half an hour. All are welcome! Door prizes, free refreshments, free snacks and a free lunch (while supplies last) will be available. Free transportation for seniors. Anyone can learn to play and local musician and teacher Don Hinde will show you how. This series is for seniors 60+ who are eager for a new hobby or wish to play again. It’s never too late to learn! The cost is $40.00 and starts Monday, October 21st and will run for 6 consecutive weeks at Community Care for Seniors offices located on 74A King Street in Picton from 10:00 to 11:00am.
