The Retreat is for those who have experienced loss from death/separation/divorce and transition. An opportunity to examine your loss and explore tools for going through the grief on the journey to healing.  

Retreat is being held at Mount Carmel Spiritual Centre in Niagara Falls, Ontario. It starts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday June 14th, 2019, and concludes on Sunday, June 16th at 12:00.

The cost is $250.00 and includes two overnight stays at Mount Carmel in a private room with private bath and five buffet meals and access to the whole building. Commuter rate is available for local residents.

Community Event - Niagara - 5K Charity Walk ~ In Memory of Johni-Mae Haskell

The 5K charity-walk takes place in St Catharines on July 20th, 2019. All proceeds from the walk will benefit Gillian's Place; A shelter which provides safe refuge and help for victims of domestic violence.

The walk begins at 11:00 am, but registration will start at 10:00 am. The cost is $20/participant. Teams are welcome! Pre-registration is always appreciated, and can be done electronically by emailing inmemoryofjohnimaehaskell@gmail.com, or visiting Facebook theresawayout5kwalk. 

We are asking for community donations in the way of pledges. The forms can be downloaded electronically at the above, and will be collected on the day of the walk. For individuals who collect $100.00 in donations, the registration fee is waved.

Come on out and get some exercise, and support a worthy cause. The location is very scenic and is at the St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre.  Indoor washrooms are provided on location.
