We are once again holding our annual Giant Used Book Sale at LaSalle Public School on June 5 and 6. This event raises money to support two orphaned young people in Kikima, Kenya, through the charity, Creation of Hope (https://creationofhope.com/). Books for all ages, toys, DVDs, games and puzzles will be sold. Paperbacks are $1 and hardcovers are $2.

The sale will run Wednesday, June 5 from 9am to 6:30pm and Thursday, June 6 from 9am to 2pm. The public is welcome.

Five Southern women, whose friendships began many years ago on their college swim team, set aside a long weekend every August to recharge those relationships. The play focuses on four of those weekends and spans a period of thirty-three years.
