We  need  volunteers!

As our summer operating schedule gets closer and closer we  would like to invite the public to help us in the wonderful opportunity we have at the Heritage Train and Carousel Company attraction on Mmemorial Drive. This coming Saturday May 4th from 1 to 3 pm at the Carousel and Train station,   we will be hosting a volunteer information session for anyone who would like to be part of this summers fun.We would particularly encourage high school students to participate.  We are able to sign your 40 hour volunteer hour certificates. We will be waking up the horses also on Saturday  May 4 th as well. Polishing brass,  polishing the saddles and jewels,  and general mucking out of the stalls will all be part of the day's activities.  And waking the horses and woodland creatures from their long winters hibernation.

Our weekend operating schedule starts Friday May 10 at 4:pm until dusk:   Saturday May 11 th at 10 am until dusk,  and Sunday May 12 th. 10 am until dusk.   Weather permitting of course. Weekend operation continues until July long weekend when 7 days a week service begins. We have some exciting events to share throughout this summer.  We will reveal the new colours of our Handicapped Accessible Train Set on Saturday June 15 th at 1  pm. Again this year we will be operating Victoria Day:   Armed Forces day,  and other special days throughout this coming summer.
