Would you like to Be Part of a Team and expand your horizons, contribute to your community and make friends for life! Then the Port Hope Air Cadets are for you. The 718 Yukon Squadron are looking for young men and women between the age of 12 and 18  who want to participate in a variety of fun, challenging and rewarding activities and learn valuable life and work skills such as teamwork, leadership and citizenship.

The Squadron meets every Tuesday night at 7 pm in the Port Hope High School from September until June. 

The best thing, its FREE to join, this includes training activities, gliding, outdoor camping and other fun stuff.

Come out on Wednesday, 19th September 2018, to meet and talk with the candidates running for the City of Brockville Council.

This event, open to the public, is being held at Flavor Phil's Restaurant and Banquet Hall, (803 Chelsea St., Brockville) from 6pm to 9pm.

The evening schedule will include:

- a short address by each candidate

- a moderated, town hall style  Q & A session (with questions taken from the floor)

- some time to mingle, talk with, and collect handouts from specific candidates, in a less formal structure.

- coffee, tea, and light snacks will be served

Your local Leeds and Grenville Labour Council is running this event.
