Take a little time from your lunch break on Friday November 23, from 12:15 to 12:45, to come and join the Zonta Club of Chatham Kent and other like minded citizens as they Say No to Violence Against Women. On Parry Bridge (Keil Dr.)
  
From 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to 10 December, Human Rights Day, the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence Campaign is a time to galvanize action to end violence against women and girls around the world.

The international campaign originated from the first Women's Global Leadership Institute coordinated by the Center for Women's Global Leadership in 1991.

“Zonta Says NO to Violence Against Women” is a Zonta International campaign to raise awareness of and increase actions to end violence against women and girls around the world.

Info session on the plight of Afghan Interpreters that were left behind by Canada.  Given the deteriorating security situation in Afghanistan the need for action is greater than ever.

Guest speaker is Joe Warmington from the Toronto Sun.  Two interpreters from Toronto will be attending who will talk informally about what support they received from Canada and how we can improve upon it.  There will also be 4 pre-recorded messages from 4 interpreters:
