In partnership with the Pet and Wildlife Rescue, the Caturday Cat Café will be held at the Chatham Branch on Saturday, January 12 from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm.

Stop by the Chatham Branch meeting room to meet volunteers from Chatham Pet and Wildlife Rescue and their furry friends. Play or snuggle with some adorable kitties for fifteen minutes while you learn about the work that the Pet and Wildlife Rescue does in the community and how you can help.

Children 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.  For the wellbeing of the animals, staff will have to limit the number of participants allowed in the Café at one time to 16.  Patrons may have to wait to enter the Café if the meeting room reaches capacity.

Advanced tickets for the Café can be reserved starting Friday, January 4. A limited number of standby tickets will also be available starting at 9:30 am on Saturday, January 12. Call 519.354.2940 for more details.

Public Notices/Announcements - Belleville - Belleville Chorale Society performs Messiah Dec 9

Performance of Handel’s great oratorio, “Messiah” marks an historic linkage of two outstanding local music groups: Belleville Choral Society is entering its 60th season ; the Quinte Symphony is celebrating it’s silver anniversary season. “Messiah” is one of the best known choral works in western music but has not been performed locally in a number of years. Collaborators, Mirijam Spolestra , of the Choral Society, and Dan Tremblay of The Symphony have chosen to present the work in a manner similar to it’s original performance in 1791: a 50-voice choir, and a chamber group with continuo representing the fidelity of Handel’s original intentions. Quinte Symphony ?
