Safety
Work is continuing on Pembroke Street East. Stage two of the project, from Cecelia Street to Mackay Street, is starting Thursday, October 25, 2018 until approximately November 5, 2018, to allow for resurfacing.
A Road Closure will be required for this resurfacing. Traffic will be limited to local traffic only. Through traffic will not be permitted and detours will be posted.
The City of Pembroke asks that drivers respect the posted construction signage at all times.
You are also reminded that the businesses within the construction and detour zones remain open for business and the many business owners would be happy to serve you. Businesses not accessible from a side street will be signed for access off Pembroke Street.
We thank you for your patience as the City of Pembroke continues to improve our infrastructure.
