Stroll Windsor, a new initiative encouraging residents and visitors to take a stroll in Windsor's urban villages, is coming to Walkerville on Saturday, September 8th from 10am to 1pm.

Stroll Windsor is a grassroots, community initiative that supports, celebrates, and promotes meaningful pedestrian experiences and interactions, to foster the tradition of strolling and encourage people to discover (or re-discover) the city’s diverse neighbourhoods and local businesses.

A "Calendar of Strolls" includes dates this summer and fall when participating BIAs, local businesses and community organizations will have something special in store for participants, like free samples, tastings, tours, promos, art, installations, demos, historical tidbits, casual conversation and more.

Stroll Windsor's community partners include the City of Windsor - Arts, Culture & Heritage Fund, Ford City Residents in Action, Ford City BIA, Walkerville BIA,

Via Italia BIA, Wyandotte Town Centre BIA, and Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island.
