Public Notices/Announcements - Quinte - Seniors Club Anniversary Celebration
Trillium Seniors 2000 Club is celebrating its 25th anniversary on Saturday, September 6th.
Members of the public are invited to drop by the club located at 75 St. Paul Street any time between 11 am. and 3 pm to help us celebrate this occasion.
Come on out and met our members, learn about our activities and enjoy some food and refreshments.
Community Event - Cobourg/Port Hope - Antique Machinery Centre Open House in September
The Antique Machinery Centre in Port Hope is holding a 2-day open house in September, hosted by the Hope Agricultural Heritage Club. From tractors, plows and other large farm equipment to chainsaws, handtools and everything in between. Lots to see, both indoors and out.
Visitors are welcome to bring their own antique tractor to display as they roam the centre.
No Entry Fee/Food Avaliable (Cash Only!)
Community Event - Burlington/Oakville - HIV/AIDS Fundraiser Featuring Freedom Train
On October 18th please join us for a night of great music with the well-known Freedom Train band including line dancing with Tammy Wyatt and a silent auction with local business gift products and experiences. The Burlington Ubuntu Grandwomen a local fundraising group affiilated with the Stephen Lewis Foundation . ( www.thebug.ca) Since 2003 grandmothers' groups across Canada have been raising funds for African grandmothers and their grandchidren orphaned by HIV & AIDS. 90% of funds raised by Canadian grandmothers' groups is sent by the Stephen Lewis Foundation to grassroots grandmothers'organizations in sub-Saharan Africa/ Empowering African grandmothers and their grandchildren to establish safe healthy and educated lives contributes to them and our world remaining safe from HIV/AIDS.

Community Event - Kingston - Fall Craft Fair Saturday September 27th 9am-1:00pm
Cooke's-Portsmouth United Church 200 Norman Rogers is having
a Fall Craft Fair on Saturday September 27th from 9-1.
We will be having a baked goods table and single serve dinners.
There will be several crafters selling their wares. Face painting etc.
Admission is free and there is ample parking available. Fun for all.
